A recent security breach at a Netflix production partner has led to unreleased episodes of several popular shows being leaked online.
According to Variety, the breach occurred at media localization company Iyuno, which confirmed on August 9 that it experienced a “security issue involving unauthorized access to confidential content.” Iyuno is actively investigating the incident and working to identify the individuals responsible for the leak.
Numerous clips, footage, and full episodes of unreleased Netflix shows were leaked by hackers. These videos, marked with timestamps and watermarks, have surfaced on platforms like Twitter, 4Chan, and various torrent sites.
The shows reportedly affected by the leak include:
- Arcane
- Dandadan
- Heartstopper
- Jentry Chau vs. the Underworld
- Mononoke the Movie: Phantom in the Rain
- Plankton: The Movie
- Ranma 1/2
- Spellbound
- Terminator Zero
The anonymous leaker has also claimed to have the first three episodes of the highly anticipated season 5 of Stranger Things, threatening to release them as well.
Fans have had mixed reactions to the leaks. While some are eager to watch the unreleased content despite the poor quality, others are calling for a boycott of the leaked episodes and urging viewers not to share spoilers ahead of the official release.
